A Fresh Start in the Finger Lakes

Hi friends,
It’s been a little quiet here on Hicks Film Studio lately, and I wanted to share why. Life has been full of change these past few months, and one of the biggest shifts has been a move back to the Finger Lakes, New York. I’m closer to family again and, honestly, it feels like I’m truly home.
This move has given me the chance to get grounded again and refocus on the things I love most—photography and telling stories through film. I’m excited to let you know that I’m now available for wedding photography in Rochester, Buffalo, and the Finger Lakes region.
I haven’t had much time to explore my new home yet (a new job has been keeping me busy), but I’m eager to start adventuring with my camera soon. I can’t wait to share new images from around the Finger Lakes with you—scenes of lakes, vineyards, and hidden corners of Upstate New York that inspire the way I see and create.
I’m so grateful for this new season and the chance to step back into photography with fresh eyes.
Thank you for sticking with me through the quiet. I’m looking forward to capturing more love stories, more timeless images, and more of the beautiful in-between moments that film does so well.
