Hicks Film Studio specializes in developing traditional film photography negatives and scanning them into high-quality digital files. This process ensures that your cherished memories are preserved for a lifetime.

And, unlike most shops, I also believe in returning the original negatives to you after the development and scanning process, providing you with both the digital files and the physical negatives.

These comprehensive services are designed to maintain the integrity and quality of your photographic memories, giving you peace of mind and timeless keepsakes.

It's super easy! Just follow these simple steps:

1. Visit the website and navigate to the services section.

2. Add the film development and/or scanning services to your shopping cart and adjust the quantities based on the number of rolls you need to be processed.

3. Complete your purchase through our secure checkout process.

4. Send me your undeveloped rolls or film negatives in the mail.

5. Once I've receive your package, I will develop or digitally scan your film according to the services you've selected.

For developing film, I work with 35mm and 120mm (medium format) - Black & White only.

For digital scans of negatives, I can do Color and Black & White negatives in both 35mm and 120mm.

If you have other formats or specialty films, feel free to reach out—I’ll do my best to accommodate your needs.

Your negatives will be carefully packaged and shipped back to you using a trackable shipping service. Digital scans will be delivered via a secure, private online link.
